'Here at The Christie, the Infection Prevention and Control team love MEG, it's a great piece of software and great value to use with your audit programme.   As part of our feedback, we now send the monthly hygiene compliance result to all wards and departments changing how we carry out hand hygiene audits.   We have trained the clinical staff in using MEG with the  resultant data more meaningful which help drive and maintain standards'.

'The IV team in GSTT have been using the MEG audits system over the past 12 months and it has been of great benefit.  It is easy to setup and use.  It has significantly decreased the amount of time spent undertaking audits freeing the team up to focus on their clinical activities.  The instant feedback is helping to improve standards.  It has significantly simplified the process of monthly and quarterly reports that are circulated across the trust.  The degree of flexibility in the system and the responsiveness of their team to our requirements has been very impressive.  It is an indispensable part of our auditing and reporting process'.

‘We engaged MEG Support Tools to create a mobile version of our antimicrobial guidelines, so that staff can access the info on their own smart phones. They were able to convert complex medical information into software that is intuitive and easy to navigate. They were also very helpful in creating additional calculator features which have been very useful to our staff. The product was delivered within the allocated budget in a timely manner. We received a professional, responsive and flexible service and their team provided great advice and support throughout the process. I have no hesitation in recommending them to any organisation looking to make a move into the world of mobile apps.’

'The antimicrobial stewardship team at Beaumont Hospital have been delighted to work with MEG Support Tools on the development of an innovative new smartphone app which supports quick and easy access for doctors, nurses and pharmacists to the Beaumont Hospital updated antimicrobial guidelines. Since the official launch in July 2014, over 500 users have accessed it on their own mobile devices, with positive feedback received from staff. The antimicrobial stewardship team undertakes an annual audit of antimicrobial prescribing and has observed further improvements in compliance with hospital guidelines in the most recent audit conducted in September 2014. Given the public health issues of antimicrobial resistance related to suboptimal prescribing habits, the availability of the antimicrobial app ensures our prescribers have rapid access to our guidelines at the point of care.'

'Having access to medical guidelines at the point-of-care is very important in the treatment of problem patients. The MEG e-guide system allows us to distribute our pain guidelines via mobile apps which are very easy to use. The Content Management System allows us to make instant updates to the app so the information can be kept up to date without any technical assistance, a benefit of this is that there is no need to distribute print material which may become outdated. Smartphone and iPad usage is very high amongst staff so this is a simple and effective way of improving how we share information.'

'Here at MRH Portlaoise we were looking for a user-friendly and adaptable method of getting information to staff in the hospital. MEG support tools were very supportive throughout the whole process and responded to any of our queries in a timely and friendly fashion. They have given us the tools to enable us to maintain and update the information locally while knowing the support is there when needed. I would highly recommend MEG support tools to provide a user-friendly software solution for healthcare providers. '
